Pulled Pork with Beer

Also known as pulled pork, the shredded pork can be enjoyed either on a plate or in a sandwich (the preferred version of "Bretons en Cuisine"!). A simple and delicious recipe made with beer, ketchup, harissa, mustard, and a Cajun spice blend.

Instructions

  • 1.   1. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, harissa, beer, spices, salt, and pepper.
  • 2.   2. Cut the pork shoulder into large pieces and add them to the marinade, cover, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • 3.   3. Meanwhile, prepare a good fire and cut 4 sheets of aluminum foil. Spread the marinated pork pieces in the fire and cook for 45 minutes, with the lid down, turning them occasionally.
  • 4.   4. After cooking, serve and enjoy the pork pieces, which should easily shred apart.

  • 1 kg of pork loin
  • 60 g of brown sugar
  • 40 g of ketchup
  • 30 g of harissa
  • 30 g of mustard
  • 20 cl of beer
  • 1 tablespoon of Cajun Spices
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
