Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Meanwhile, grease a ramekin with butter. Cut the slice of ham in half and place the two pieces in the ramekin.
  • 2.   Add the egg.
  • 3.   Cover with heavy cream.
  • 4.   Season with salt and pepper.
  • 5.   Sprinkle with grated Gruyère cheese to finish.
  • 6.   Place in the oven and monitor the cooking process.
