Croque monsieur with avocado, bacon, and spinach

Instructions

  • 1.   Step 1:
    Cook the bacon until crispy, wash the spinach, slice the mozzarella, and prepare the avocado.

    Step 2:
    I cut off the crusts of the bread because I find them too heavy... but everyone has their own preferences 🙂

    Step 3:
    On a slice of bread, layer the ingredients in the following order: mozzarella, avocado, bacon, and a few spinach leaves (add an extra layer of mozzarella for those who want more).

    Step 4:
    In a medium heat skillet, melt a knob of butter and cook the croque monsieur sandwiches until golden brown, pressing them slightly to hold their shape.
