My ham and cheese croissants recipe

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    On a baking sheet, place the croissants split in half lengthwise. In the bowl of a food processor, add the washed and halved mushrooms and the peeled and roughly chopped shallot. Blend everything together. Pour the mixture into a hot pan with the butter and cook until the mushrooms have released their liquid. Then add the cream, mix well, and remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper.

    Slice some Comté cheese with a peeler and place it inside the croissants. Add the mushroom duxelles and then the ham. Finish with a few slices of Comté cheese inside and on top of the ham.
    Close the croissants. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve the croissants with mesclun salad.

  • 120 g of Comté cheese
  • 10 cl of heavy cream
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 100 g of mesclun
  • pepper (according to taste)
