Chicken Club Sandwich

Régal offers its version of the famous club sandwich. A truly ideal recipe idea for a dinner party! Follow our 7 preparation steps to make a homemade chicken club sandwich. You can replace the chicken with salmon or turkey if you prefer.

Instructions

  • 1.   Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the garlic, bay leaf, and rosemary. Once the water is boiling, add the chicken and turn off the heat. Your chicken is cooked when the water is cold. Then slice it into thin strips and set aside for assembly.
  • 2.   Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
  • 3.   Butter one side of each slice of bread and lightly toast them in the oven, buttered side up.
  • 4.   Cut the tomatoes and cucumber into very thin slices.
  • 5.   The mayonnaise: beat the egg, mustard, curry, salt, and pepper, gradually adding the oil to make the sauce thicken. Add the chopped hard-boiled eggs to half of the mayonnaise and mix. Reserve the remaining sauce in a separate bowl.
  • 6.   Assembling the club sandwich: spread a little mayonnaise on one slice of bread, add some chicken, tomatoes, and cucumber. Cover with a second slice of bread. Add some of the egg-mayonnaise mixture, lettuce, and close the sandwich with the last slice of bread. Repeat these steps for the 4 sandwiches.
  • 7.   Secure the sandwich with two wooden picks and cut it in half (diagonally) into triangles.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 leaf of bay leaf
  • 1 stalk of rosemary
  • 40 g of butter
  • 12 slice of sliced bread
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 bag of lettuce
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 pinch of curry powder
  • 1 pinch of flower of salt
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
