One pot of chicken and vegetable Monsieur Cuisine

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the chicken breasts into cubes and chop the onion and garlic. Slice the carrots and cut the peppers into strips.
  • 2.   In the bowl of the Monsieur Cuisine, add the olive oil, chicken cubes, onion, and garlic. Sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • 3.   Add the carrots and peppers and sauté for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 4.   Add the basmati rice and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  • 5.   Start the "Rice" program on the Monsieur Cuisine and let cook for about 20 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
  • 6.   Serve hot and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
