Instructions

  • 1.   Make breadcrumbs with stale bread using a cheese grater or the Companion's grater attachment.
  • 2.   Grate the cheese using a manual cheese grater or the Companion's grater attachment.
  • 3.   Grate the zucchini using the coarse grater attachment on the Companion without peeling them. Squeeze them in a clean towel to remove excess moisture.
  • 4.   Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • 5.   Cook the bacon bits in a frying pan.
  • 6.   Grease a baking sheet.
  • 7.   Place the zucchini and bacon in a bowl, add the beaten egg, cheese, breadcrumbs, and seasoning, then mix everything together by hand.
  • 8.   Shape the fritters and place them on the baking sheet.
  • 9.   Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
