Savory Chabichou Madeleines

Savory madeleines are great to take on a picnic or to eat with a salad, instead of the good old quiche. 1 serving = 2 madeleines

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Cut the sun-dried tomatoes and Chabichou cheese into small cubes.
  • 3.   In a bowl, mix the eggs, milk, and oil.
  • 4.   Add the flour, baking powder, chili pepper, and salt, then mix.
  • 5.   Add the Chabichou cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, and mix again.
  • 6.   Fill the molds of your madeleine pan about 3/4 full, then bake for approximately 15 minutes.
  • 7.   The madeleines should be puffed up and golden brown.
  • 8.   Unmold onto a cooling rack and let them cool down.
