Lentil and Carrot Soup

Winter soup, ideal for young and old!

Instructions

  • 1.   Pour a drizzle of olive oil into a Dutch oven. Slice the carrots and add them to the Dutch oven along with the shallots, onions, crushed garlic cloves, whole sprigs of parsley, and bouquet garni.
  • 2.   Add the raw lentils and enough water to cover everything. Bring to a boil and let cook for at least 30 minutes. Once the lentils are well cooked, blend them.
  • 3.   Add cream and milk to achieve the desired consistency, season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Grill the bacon and add it on top.

  • 1 coconut milk
  • 1 plant-based milk
