Spicy Angus Beef with Thai Basil

Instructions

  • 1.   The meat should be cooked very quickly to keep its finesse and tenderness. Therefore, it needs to be sliced into very thin strips using a good knife. If necessary, put the meat in the freezer for 20 minutes to facilitate slicing. In a bowl, mix the marinade ingredients. Add the meat and grilled garlic, and mix well.
  • 2.   Fry about thirty basil leaves in a little oil (the leaves should become transparent), then drain on paper towels. Add to the meat mixture. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  • 3.   To finish
    Heat a little oil in a pan, quickly sauté the meat, and add a little vegetable broth (a few centiliters, not more). Let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes and it's ready! Add some fresh and finely chopped basil at the last moment! Serve immediately.
