Beef stew with 3 spices

Instructions

  • 1.   In a Dutch oven, sauté the onion in a little oil. When it becomes translucent, add the pieces of meat. Season with salt, pepper, and add the marjoram.
  • 2.   Once the beef pieces are browned, deglaze with white wine. Add the carrots sliced into rounds, then the mushrooms roughly sliced. Let the carrots sweat for a few minutes.
  • 3.   Add the paprika, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for a few minutes, stirring regularly.
  • 4.   Cover with water and crumble the 1/2 bouillon cube. Let simmer over low heat for 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours.

  • 2 sweet paprikas
  • 2 cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 onion
  • 350 g of beef
  • 1 pinch of dried marjoram
