Instructions

  • 1.   Peel (scrape) the carrots and cut them into small slices.
  • 2.   In a saucepan, prepare a chicken broth. The amount of water should be enough to cover the carrots.
  • 3.   In a frying pan, melt the butter and then add the sugar. Stir until it forms a slight "foam," and then add the carrots. Stir a little and then add the broth (the carrots should be covered).
  • 4.   Let it simmer uncovered to allow the water to evaporate for 20/25 minutes.
