Instructions
1. Place the chicken thighs in an ovenproof dish. Place a small knob of butter on each thigh. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
2. Peel, wash, and cut the potatoes into cubes. Sauté them in a oiled pan with thyme for a few minutes. Season with salt.
3. Remove the chicken thighs from the oven and transfer them from the dish. Place the potatoes in the bottom of the dish. Place the chicken thighs on top. Return the dish to the oven for 15 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
4. Grate the Emmental cheese into a bowl. Mix it with the sour cream. Flip the chicken thighs and cover them with the cream-cheese mixture. Bake again for 20 minutes at 200°C (400°F). Serve the baked chicken thighs with Emmental cheese hot.
