Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan. Meanwhile, wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into sticks. Put them in the boiling water and let them pre-cook for 15 minutes.
  • 3.   Heat olive oil in a pan. Add the potatoes and cook them for a few minutes until golden.
  • 4.   In another pan, cook the ground beef patties without oil. Season with salt and pepper, then cut them in half.
  • 5.   Wash the tomato and lettuce leaves, then thinly slice the tomato.
  • 6.   Cut the baguette in half. Spread mustard on one side of each half and place 2 pieces of steak on top.
  • 7.   Cut each slice of cheese in half and distribute them over the steak pieces.
  • 8.   Place the filled baguette halves in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • 9.   After removing from the oven, add half of the fries, 2 tomato slices, and a lettuce leaf to the sandwich.
