Chocolate Pancakes

Instructions

  • 1.   Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
  • 2.   Whisk the sugar with the whole egg. Incorporate one third of the flour mixed with the baking powder. Stir and gradually pour in the milk while continuing to beat. Add the second third of flour. Mix well. Pour in the heavy cream, add the final third of flour, and then the chocolate and butter mixture, stirring constantly.
  • 3.   Once the mixture is smooth, let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
  • 4.   Heat a greased pan over medium heat. Pour a large tablespoon of batter per pancake. You can make several pancakes at once, but they should not touch each other. Cook for about two to three minutes. Then flip each pancake and cook for two minutes.
  • 5.   For the chocolate sauce, bring the milk and cream to a boil. Pour over the roughly chopped chocolate. Wait for a minute and whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth.

  • 50 g of 70% dark chocolate
  • 10 cl of milk
  • 10 cl of heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • Sauce chocolat :
  • 200 g of 60% c dark chocolate
  • 5 cl of heavy cream
  • 5 cl of milk
