Veal Tajine with Tomatoes and Onions

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the meat into pieces. Mix it with chopped parsley, saffron, pepper, salt, 1 tablespoon of oil, and water. Let it marinate for 30 minutes. In a tajine or a large pot, sauté the meat over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring. Add ½ glass of water and 3 tablespoons of oil.
  • 2.   Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes (less if using a multicooker).
  • 3.   Then, arrange the onions sliced into rounds, followed by the tomatoes sliced into rounds. Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes (less if using a multicooker).
