PotatoCourse: Main coursePreparation time: 60 minutes
Instructions
1. 😀 Preparation in advance possible, refrigerate before baking
Also try the Cookomix recipe to make the beef mince in the Tmx? (to have the meat more finely minced?)
2. Modified Thermomix Mashed Potato Recipe (as there is too much mashed potato compared to the mince):
- Insert the whisk attachment
- Add 700g (amount to be tested) of peeled and diced potatoes.
Salt+++
+ 200g (amount to be tested) of milk
Cook for 25min at 95°C speed 1 reverse, without the measuring cup
3. After cooking, add 30g of butter.
Blend for 40s speed 4
Remove the whisk attachment.
4. Preparation of the beef mince:
- In a large frying pan, add a little neutral oil, 500g of crumbled mince, 1 onion (omit if Nolane) and cook over medium to high heat. Stir regularly.
- When the meat is almost cooked, pour a little water and 2 beef stock cubes over it. Let it reduce over high heat. Stir regularly.
Preheat the oven to 210°C
- Remove from heat when there is almost no water left in the mince (do not burn it)
5. Prepare the green salad, or tomato salad, etc...
6. Assemble the final dish:
- In a gratin dish, layer the beef mince and mashed potato (almost half and half).
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs and grated cheese on top for a crispy texture.
Bake for about 15 minutes at 210°C (monitor closely)
