Swiss Chard Quiche

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Wash the Swiss chard leaves. Unroll the pastry in a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  • 2.   Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then plunge the Swiss chard into it. Cook for 5 minutes, then drain by squeezing the leaves between your hands. Finely chop them.
  • 3.   In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add the Swiss chard, brocciu cheese, and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  • 4.   Pour the mixture onto the pastry crust, then bake for about 40 minutes.
  • 5.   Tip: You can cover the quiche with aluminum foil halfway through cooking to prevent it from drying out.
