Instructions

  • 1.   Peel, wash, and finely slice the potatoes, if possible using a mandoline. Crumble the sausage meat finely.
  • 2.   In a small casserole dish, pour 3 tablespoons of water. Create layers by alternating slices of potatoes, tomato pulp, sausage meat, grated Emmental cheese (1/2 tablespoon per layer), a little minced garlic and parsley. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • 3.   Repeat until all the ingredients are used, approximately 6 layers. Add 100 ml of water on top, close the casserole dish, and cook over very low heat for about 1 hour. Check the doneness with the tip of a knife, it should easily go all the way to the bottom of the casserole dish.

  • 6 teaspoon of parsley
