Generous Puff Pastry Quiche

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cook the bacon in a non-stick pan.
  • 2.   In a bowl, pour the heavy cream, eggs, pepper, and a pinch of paprika (do not add salt as the bacon is already salty).
  • 3.   Drain the bacon on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  • 4.   Roll out your puff pastry in a pie dish, making sure to prick it with a fork.
  • 5.   Carefully pour the cream and egg mixture onto the pastry, then sprinkle with diced ham and bacon, and top with grated Gruyère cheese.
  • 6.   Bake for about 60 minutes, checking the cooking progress (insert the tip of a knife in the middle of the quiche to check if it is cooked).
