Tuna Carbonara with Vegetables

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and dice the carrot.
    Wash, remove the seeds, and cut the bell pepper and zucchini into small pieces.
    Peel and slice the onion.
  • 2.   Heat the oil in a pan.
    Sweat the onions, then add the tuna and vegetables.
    Let cook for 15 to 20 minutes over low heat.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti and mix the cream, egg yolk, and seasonings in a bowl.
  • 4.   After about ten minutes of cooking the vegetables, add the sauce.
    Chop the basil.
  • 5.   When the pasta is cooked, drain it and mix it with the sauce, then sprinkle with basil.

Notes & Suggestions

  • You can also use a can of mackerel for variation!

  • 30 ml of heavy cream
  • 40 g of canned tuna in water (drained weight)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 5 ml of olive oil
  • 5 leaf of fresh basil
