Homemade Cordon Bleu

Better and more nutritious than the industrial version...and easy to make!

Instructions

  • 1.   Step 1:
  • 2.   Cut the chicken breasts in half without separating them.
  • 3.   Flatten them using a rolling pin. Step 2:
  • 4.   Season with salt, place a slice of ham on half of the breast, 2 slices of cheese, and close the breast.
  • 5.   Repeat with the remaining breasts.
  • 6.   Coat the breasts with flour and tap to remove the excess.
  • 7.   Step 3:
  • 8.   Beat an egg in a shallow plate, dip the cordon bleu on all sides, then coat them with breadcrumbs.
  • 9.   Step 4:
  • 10.   Once the cordon bleu is breaded, cook them in a greased pan over medium-high heat for two minutes on each side.
  • 11.   Finish cooking in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes.

  • 8 handful of emmental
  • 1 egg
  • 1 handful of breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of fine salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
