Tandoori Chicken with Coriander Sauce: Indian cuisine

A typical Indian coriander sauce is also prepared right before your eyes to accompany the chicken, ideally with basmati rice. Instructions

  • 1.   Chicken preparation
  • 2.   Make incisions in the chicken thighs
  • 3.   Prepare a marinade: chop the garlic and ginger into small pieces in a bowl, add the yogurt, oil, lemon juice, and tandoori spices
  • 4.   Mix everything well and dip the chicken thighs in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated
  • 5.   Keep refrigerated for at least one hour, ideally 3 or 4 hours
  • 6.   Place the chicken thighs on a grill lined with aluminum foil and place in the top part of the oven at 220°C for 30 minutes
  • 7.   Sauce preparation
  • 8.   Blend the bunch of coriander with the lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of yogurt, 1 good pinch of salt, and the cumin seeds
  • 9.   Then add the remaining yogurt
  • 10.   Keep refrigerated and serve with the grilled chicken thighs.

  • 1 lime
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger
  • 1 stalk of fresh coriander
