Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.
  • 2.   Cook them in a pot of boiling water for 20 minutes.
  • 3.   Drain and let them cool at the end of cooking.
  • 4.   Wash the red cabbage. Then chop it into thin slices in a food processor.
  • 5.   Peel and chop the garlic and shallot.
  • 6.   Cut the bacon into small pieces.
  • 7.   Place a non-stick skillet on the stove.
  • 8.   Add the bacon, shallot, and garlic to the hot skillet.
  • 9.   Stir and let them cook for a few minutes.
  • 10.   Then add the potatoes and red cabbage to the skillet.
  • 11.   Add a few drops of oil.
  • 12.   Season everything with salt and pepper.
  • 13.   Mix and cover the skillet with a lid.
  • 14.   Cook while monitoring the preparation.
  • 15.   Stir occasionally while waiting for the cabbage to become tender and the potatoes to become soft.
  • 16.   Taste to check the seasoning.
  • 17.   Serve hot.
