Goat cheese, hazelnut, and bacon cake with Thermomix

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Grease a loaf pan.
  • 3.   Sauté 100g (3.5 oz) of bacon lardons in a frying pan.
  • 4.   Put 150 grams (1 1/4 cups) of flour in the Thermomix bowl.
  • 5.   Add 3 eggs to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 6.   Add 80 grams (1/3 cup) of olive oil to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 7.   Add 130 grams (1/2 cup) of semi-skimmed milk to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 8.   Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 9.   Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 10.   Place the lid with the measuring cup.
  • 11.   Mix for 10 sec/speed 7.
  • 12.   Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
  • 13.   Add 80 grams (2/3 cup) of hazelnuts to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 14.   Add 200 grams (7 oz) of goat cheese, cut into pieces, to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 15.   Place the lid with the measuring cup.
  • 16.   Mix for 3 sec/speed 5.
  • 17.   Add 100 grams (3.5 oz) of cooked bacon lardons to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 18.   Place the lid with the measuring cup.
  • 19.   Mix for 5 sec/speed 2.
  • 20.   Transfer to a loaf pan and bake in a convection oven for 50 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
  • 21.   Allow to cool before slicing.
