Tuna sausage with caper sauce in the Thermomix

Here is the recipe for tuna sausage, a surprising but delightful dish! This recipe has the advantage of being relatively low in calories, depending on the sauce with which it is served. Tuna, eggs, breadcrumbs, and aromatic garnish... nothing more. Ideal for an appetizer or as an entrée, you can also incorporate it into a composed salad or take it on a picnic... a very versatile and friendly sausage :)

Instructions

  • 1.   Place 15 grams of fresh parsley (leaves only) in the Thermomix bowl.
  • 2.   Add 60 grams of Parmesan cheese, cut into pieces, to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 3.   Place the lid with the measuring cup.
  • 4.   Grind for 10 sec/speed 9.
  • 5.   Add 4 pitted black olives to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 6.   Add 300 grams of drained canned tuna to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 7.   Add 2 eggs to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 8.   Add 30 grams of breadcrumbs to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 9.   Place the lid with the measuring cup.
  • 10.   Mix for 20 sec/speed 3.5.
  • 11.   Shape the mixture into a sausage, wrap it in parchment paper, and place it in the Varoma.
  • 12.   Add 350 grams of water to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 13.   Add the Varoma.
  • 14.   Cook for 25 min/120°C/speed 1.
  • 15.   Place 35 grams of capers in a container.
  • 16.   Rinse, dry, and add the capers to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 17.   Mix for 10 sec/speed 5.
  • 18.   Add 4 tablespoons of olive oil to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 19.   Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the Thermomix bowl.
  • 20.   Heat for 3 min/80°C/speed 2.
  • 21.   Slice the tuna sausage once it has cooled and pour the sauce over it :).
