Weight Watchers Crozets

Get your protein fix with this lightened-up gratin of crozets with cream and bacon that will please those following the Weight Watchers program. And it's also very easy to make.

Instructions

  • 1.   1. Sauté the bacon in a skillet without oil: the bacon will release its fat. Set it aside once it is nicely browned.
  • 2.   2. In a pot of boiling water, add the crozets and let them simmer for 20 minutes. Drain them at the end of cooking.
  • 3.   3. Combine the crozets with the bacon in the skillet and pour in the light cream. Mix everything well.
  • 4.   4. Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  • 5.   5. Add grated gruyère cheese and to give the gratin a nice golden color, add the equivalent of 1 small knob of butter to each corner of the dish.
  • 6.   6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the gratin is nicely browned on top.
  • 7.   7. For a complete and balanced meal, serve your dish with a slice of turkey breast or chicken breast.

  • 100 g of bacon cube
  • 400 ml of light cream (12-15%)
  • 100 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of breadcrumbs
  • 4 teaspoon of unsalted butter
