Instructions

  • 1.   Soak the chicken in vinegar, soy sauce, and couscous spices for at least 20 minutes.
  • 2.   In a large pot, add a drizzle of olive oil. When the oil is hot, sear the chicken thighs with the minced onion.
  • 3.   After searing, add the spices. Cook over medium heat. Mix everything well.
  • 4.   Add the tomato puree.
  • 5.   Finish by adding 2 tablespoons of honey. For those who want a sweeter taste, you can add up to 4 tablespoons.
  • 6.   Let simmer for 1 hour over low heat.
  • 7.   Be careful, check the sauce every 15 minutes and don't hesitate to add water, spices, or honey.
