Mustard Rabbit

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 210°C (425°F). Peel the carrots and cut them into thin slices. Brush the rabbit with 3 tablespoons of mustard and place it in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle half of the butter over the meat and sprinkle with thyme.
  • 2.   Add the carrots around the rabbit, season with salt and pepper. Pour white wine over it and bake for about ten minutes.
  • 3.   Turn the rabbit pieces over, pour the cooking juices over them, add the remaining butter, season with salt and pepper, and bake again for about ten minutes.
  • 4.   Remove the rabbit sauce, put it in a saucepan over low heat, add the cream and 1 tablespoon of mustard. Cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve the rabbit with the sauce poured over it.

  • 4 rabbit legs
  • 12 teaspoon of mustard
  • 30 g of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 250 ml of white wine
  • 200 g of light cream 4-5%
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
