Basil and tomato gnocchi gratin

Instructions

. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).

. Cook the gnocchi for 1 minute in a pot of boiling water.

. Drain them.

. Grease an ovenproof dish and pour in the gnocchi.

. Cover with sliced peeled tomatoes, grated gruyère cheese, and chopped basil.

. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

. Bake for 15 minutes until the gratin is lightly golden.
8
. Serve hot with a slice of lean ham and some seasoned salad leaves.
