Garden Macédoine with Thermomix

Recipe for Macédoine with fresh ingredients: shelled peas, trimmed green beans, carrots, and fresh potatoes.

Instructions

  • 1.   Shell the peas, trim the beans and cut them into small pieces, peel the carrots and potatoes and cut them into cubes.
    Put water and salt in the Thermomix bowl and set for 8min/varoma/speed 1.
  • 2.   When it beeps, insert the steaming basket containing all the vegetables and the egg.
    Set for 17 min/varoma/speed 1.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, crumble the tuna.
    At the end of the cooking time, remove the basket and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process.
    Drain the vegetables and peel the egg. Cut it into cubes.
  • 4.   In a suitable dish, pour the vegetables with the tuna, egg, and mayonnaise (homemade will be even better).
    Serve garnished with black olives and sprinkled with coriander.

  • 100 g of pea
  • 100 g of green bean
  • 120 g of carrot
  • 100 g of firm-fleshed potato
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g of canned tuna in water (drained weight)
  • 4 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 4 sprig of fresh coriander
  • salt (according to taste)
