Endive and Ham Gratin with White Wine

Instructions

  • 1.   Sort the endives, remove the bitter core. Cook them for about 4 minutes in boiling salted water.
    Drain them, rinse them under cold water, and drain them again.
  • 2.   Wrap each endive with a slice of ham and arrange them in a buttered ovenproof dish.
  • 3.   Pour the white wine.
    Season the cream with salt and pepper. Cover the endives with it.
    Bake at 220°C (200°C fan-forced) for about 15 minutes.

  • 100 ml of white wine
  • 150 g of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
