Poutine

Poutine is a Quebec dish made of fries and cheddar, topped with brown gravy.

Instructions

  • 1.   Bake your fries in the oven. Place them on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  • 2.   Prepare the brown gravy that will be poured over your poutine: pour beef broth into a saucepan, then add flour, garlic powder, and chopped onion. Cook over low heat until the brown gravy thickens.
  • 3.   In four bowls, distribute your fries. Sprinkle them with cheese.
  • 4.   Finish preparing your poutine by pouring the brown gravy over everything.
  • 5.   Serve your poutine immediately and enjoy it hot.

  • Modification of the original recipe using baked fries.
