Instructions

  • 1.   Pour the dry yeast into a bowl. Dissolve it in warm milk. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • 2.   Pour the flour into a mixing bowl. Make a well in the center. Pour in the dissolved yeast, eggs, salt, eggs, and softened butter cut into cubes. Knead the dough for several minutes until it is smooth and no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let the dough rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
  • 3.   Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out the donuts using a cookie cutter or a glass. Let them rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • 4.   Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large saucepan. Dip the donuts into the hot oil. Drain and place them on paper towels. Let them cool.
  • 5.   Prepare the glaze. Mix powdered sugar, egg white, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a pinch of food coloring. Mix well until you obtain a smooth glaze. Dip the donuts into the glaze. Sprinkle with sprinkles and let them dry for 1 hour before enjoying.
