Oatmeal and Milk Chocolate Cereal Bars

Here is an easy snack recipe that will satisfy your hunger when you're feeling peckish. Avoid store-bought cereal bars and make homemade snacks to take with you everywhere. Made with oatmeal, brown sugar, butter, dried fruits, and milk chocolate chips, make these oatmeal and milk chocolate cereal bars right away.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
  • 2.   In a saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, and honey, then heat over low heat while stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. In a bowl, mix together the oatmeal, multi-grain mixture, chocolate chips, and diced dried fruits.
  • 3.   Add the previous mixture to the dry ingredients and gently stir until well combined. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, smoothing the surface with a spatula. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • 4.   After this time, cut the mixture into equal portions and let cool at room temperature. Store the bars in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.

  • 110 g of brown sugar
  • 100 g of butter
  • 75 g of dried fruit
  • 75 g of multi-grain blend
  • 2 tablespoon of chocolate chip
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
