American hamburger sandwich

Instructions

  • 1.   - Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   - Cook the hamburger patties in a skillet without oil if possible.
  • 3.   - Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   - Once cooked to desired doneness, cut the patties in half.
  • 5.   - Slice the tomato into 0.5cm (0.2 inch) thick slices.
  • 6.   - Divide the baguette in half and then open it lengthwise.
  • 7.   - Spread the sauce on one side of half of the baguette and arrange three pieces of patties one after the other.
  • 8.   - Place the cheese slices on top, cut in half (4 pieces in total).
  • 9.   - Bake everything for 5 minutes in the oven to warm up the bread.
  • 10.   - Then add 3 or 4 slices of tomato and the lettuce on top of the cheese.
  • 11.   - Eat immediately, plain or accompanied by fries or potato wedges.
