Jambalaya with Cookeo

Jambalaya comes from New Orleans and is heavily inspired by Spanish Paella. An ideal dish for a spicy evening with friends. Easy-to-find ingredients and your Cookeo for a very quick cooking. You are now ready to make your jambalaya with Moulinex's Cookeo.

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and slice the onion. Cut the chicken breasts into pieces. Wash and slice the green bell pepper. Dissolve the chicken stock in water. Slice the chorizo.
  • 2.   In the bowl of the food processor, place the olive oil and sauté the onions with the chicken breasts in the browning mode for 2 minutes.
  • 3.   Add the rice and continue browning for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 4.   Add the chorizo, bell pepper, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, paprika, saffron, salt, and pepper, then start the pressure cooking for 15 minutes.
  • 5.   Add the grated Parmesan cheese, mix with a wooden spoon, and serve immediately.

  • 500 g of chicken breast

  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 150 g of canned peeled tomato
  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 pinch of saffron
  • 100 g of grated parmesan
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt (according to taste)
