Instructions
1. Peel the onions and cut them into strips.
2. Form 8 meatballs.
3. Brown the onions in a Dutch oven. Set them aside and brown the meatballs in the same Dutch oven, 5 minutes on each side. Add the onions, 200 ml of water, the bouillon cube, and the Liège syrup.
4. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
5. Season before serving with fries or mashed potatoes.
