Express Liège Meatballs

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the onions and cut them into strips.
  • 2.   Form 8 meatballs.
  • 3.   Brown the onions in a Dutch oven. Set them aside and brown the meatballs in the same Dutch oven, 5 minutes on each side. Add the onions, 200 ml of water, the bouillon cube, and the Liège syrup.
  • 4.   Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
  • 5.   Season before serving with fries or mashed potatoes.

  • 4 onions
  • 800 g of mince pork and beef
  • 50 g of butter
  • 2 tablespoon of Liège syrup
  • 1 meat bouillon cube
  • 200 ml of water
  • 1 French fries
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
