Couscous in the Cookeo

Instructions

  • 1.   In sauté mode
    Brown the chicken thighs
    Add the merguez sausages
    Set aside
  • 2.   Brown the onions and garlic, stirring often
    Once browned, add all the vegetables except zucchini and chickpeas. Let them brown.
  • 3.   Add the chicken and spices. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
    Set to quick cook for 10 minutes.
  • 4.   Add zucchini and merguez sausages
    Set to cook for another 3 or 4 minutes (depending on the preheating time of your Cookeo)
  • 5.   Serve with couscous.

Ingredients for servings

  • 5 chicken thighs
  • 5 merguez
  • 1 turnip
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 large carrot
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 crushed tomato
  • 3 tablespoon of couscous spices
  • 500 ml of beef broth
  • 1 chickpeas (canned, drained weight)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
