Shepherd's pie (dairy-free, gluten-free)

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces.
  • 2.   Put them in a saucepan and cover them with water. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • 3.   Cover and bring to a boil.
  • 4.   Drain the potatoes.
  • 5.   Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or a fork or a hand blender at low speed, but do not blend for too long.
  • 6.   Add the oil, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until you get a light and creamy mashed potatoes.
  • 7.   Cook the meat.
  • 8.   Sprinkle the gratin with gruyere cheese and breadcrumbs and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

  • 600 g of ground beef
  • 50 g of gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • Purée de pomme de terre :
  • 1.5 kg of potato
  • 20 cl of plant-based milk
  • 80 g of margarine
  • 6 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 50 g of grated sheep cheese
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
