Alsatian Cervelas

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Make a slit in each cervelas lengthwise, but without separating them.
  • 2.   Insert a slice of Emmental cheese into each one and wrap it with a slice of bacon.
  • 3.   Place the cervelas in a baking dish, drizzle with oil, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.

  • 300 g of cervelat
  • 50 g of emmental
  • 300 g of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 125 g of instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 400 ml of water
  • 400 ml of milk
  • salt (according to taste)
