Comtois Salad

Instructions

  • 1.   In a frying pan, cook the fried potatoes.
    Meanwhile, bring water to a boil and cook the sausage.
  • 2.   Once cooked, slice the sausage into rounds.
    Cut the cheese into small cubes.
    Heat the cancoillotte in the microwave until it becomes liquid.
  • 3.   Arrange one plate per person by placing a few lettuce leaves at the bottom, fried potatoes, pieces of sausage, chopped walnut kernels, cherry tomato halves, and cubes of Comté cheese.
    Pour the plate with warm cancoillotte and serve immediately.

Notes & Suggestions

  • The Comté cheese can be replaced with pieces of Morbier cheese, and the Morteau sausage can be replaced with a Montbéliard sausage or a smoked sausage.

  • 1 cup of cancoillotte Nature
  • 400 g of fried potato
  • 150 g of walnut kernel (optional)
  • 200 g of cherry tomato (optional)
