Chicken, leek, and carrot gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and slice the carrots, then cook them in salted water for 15 minutes.
    Wash and slice the leeks.
  • 2.   Cook the leeks in a little water, covered.
  • 3.   Sauté the chicken.
  • 4.   Then add the chicken to the vegetables.
  • 5.   Prepare the béchamel sauce by simply putting the cold milk and cornstarch in a saucepan, then start heating and stirring continuously until the béchamel thickens.
  • 6.   Pour the vegetables and chicken into a dish, then pour the béchamel sauce on top.
  • 7.   Place small pieces of cheese on top of the gratin and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
