Tuna and Caper Pasta

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash, peel, chop the onion.
  • 2.   Cook the pasta as usual in a large saucepan, then drain.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, sauté the onion and chilli if you put it in olive oil for 5 minutes, while the onion has softened and is slightly sweet
  • 4.   Raise the fire and add the tomatoes, tuna, capers and a good pinch of salt; bring to a boil and let simmer about ten minutes; taste and rectify the seasoning
  • 5.   Pour the pasta in the sauce, warm a little if necessary, and add the lemon juice (and the zest if you want).
  • 6.   Mix well, check seasoning and serve immediately. No need to add cheese or condiment, the taste is already pronounced with the capers.
