Sautéed Green Beans with Ham

Step 1 Peel and slice the onion. Step 2 Put it in a sauté pan with olive oil over medium heat. Let it brown for 5 or 10 minutes and add the still frozen green beans all at once. Step 3 Slightly increase the heat and stir with a spoon. Add the ham and let it cook while giving it a few stirs from time to time until the beans are tender, about twenty minutes. Step 4 Taste and add a little salt if necessary.
