Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the endive's feet. Cook them for 10 minutes steaming.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, prepare the bechamel by melting the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour, stir well until you get a roux. Out of the fire, pour the milk gently. Whip the preparation.
  • 3.   Preheat the oven to 240 ° C.
  • 4.   Drain the endives. Put the béchamel over low heat, add the cream and beat until the béchamel thickens. Add salt and pepper.
  • 5.   Wrap the endives with ham. Put them in a dish. Cover them with bechamel, sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • 6.   Bake for 20 minutes, until the top is browned. Serve hot.
