Beef with Paprika

Beef with paprika is a highly appreciated combination in Central Europe, especially in Hungary, where they cook Goulash, a tomato and paprika soup with beef chunks added to it.

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the beef strips in a little oil with shallots and garlic. Set aside.
  • 2.   Deglaze the pan with broth and 1/2 glass of white wine, then add the paprika.
  • 3.   Return the beef to the pan and add the sour cream.
  • 4.   Let it simmer on low heat.
  • 5.   As a side dish, I serve basmati rice.

  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoon of sour cream
