Homemade Chocolate Easter Eggs

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the 6 eggs with cold water and dry them.
  • 2.   Carefully cut a hole of about one centimeter in the roundest part of the eggs.

    Empty them into a bowl, wash and dry the shells, then set them aside.
  • 3.   In a saucepan, heat the cream over low heat.

    When it starts to boil, add the chocolate pieces and butter.

    Once the mixture is well blended, divide it in half and mix crushed hazelnuts into one half.
  • 4.   Place the empty and clean shells in their original box or in egg cups.

    Fill them with the chocolate ganache: three with plain chocolate and three with hazelnut chocolate.
