Homemade Danette cream

Instructions

  • 1.   In a saucepan, mix the sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch.
  • 2.   Gradually add the milk to avoid lumps.
  • 3.   Heat over medium heat until thickened.
  • 4.   Off the heat, add the chocolate cut into pieces and mix until completely melted.
  • 5.   Stir in the heavy cream and salt.
  • 6.   Divide into ramekins, let cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  • 100 g of dark baking chocolate
  • 20 g of unsweetened 100% cocoa powder
  • 60 g of sugar
  • 20 g of Cornstarch
  • 10 cl of heavy cream
  • 1 pinch of salt
