Crispy Camembert parcels

Instructions

  • 1.   Melt the butter. Chop the chives.
  • 2.   Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and place your Mini-Muffin pan on the perforated baking sheet.
  • 3.   Cut the camembert into 15 g pieces. Cut out 20 ham discs from the slices using the 3.5 cm cutter. Coarsely crush the scraps.
  • 4.   Layer 2 sheets of filo pastry in each cavity, crossing them. Press them down well on the edges.

    Place 1 slice of ham in each cavity and distribute the scraps on top.
  • 5.   In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the heavy cream and seasoning. Add the chives.
  • 6.   Bake for 4 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to form the crispy parcels. Remove from the oven while keeping the oven on.
  • 7.   Cut the filo pastry sheets into 40 squares measuring 10 cm on each side. Brush them with melted butter using a pastry brush.
  • 8.   Place the pieces of camembert cheese in the cavities and distribute the mixture on top.
  • 9.   Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
